Coronary Angiography is a very low risk procedure which is usually carried out as a 'day' case.

Following the procedure there is a period of observation, in which you have to lie still, and sometimes hold a small weighted bag against the incision, to prevent any post operative bleeding .

Patients are allowed home usually after about four hours
